Divanomania design party in Moscow

The future architect Alina Tupitsyna from Ekaterinburg created the winning design in the WWF category, a cover called 'Nordic Tiger'. Read more at 4living.ru.
Despite the heatwave it was an ultra cool party, when the winners of the Russian Divanomania design contest were celebrated. More than 300 creative cover design proposals were submitted, among these a range of designs with reference to the threatened Siberian tiger, thanks to a cooperation with the WWF.
Innovation's director of sales, Birgit Rojh, was invited to represent Innovation. She thanked the organiser and cooperation partner Collection Ltd. and congratulated the winner Vladimir on his achievement. Click to see more pictures and read the laudatory speach.
Divanomania Design It Yourself contest

This is the winner of a design competition organised by Collection LTD in Russia. More than 300 contributions from 30 cities were handed in, showing great talent and creativity among the Russian youth. Innovation's chief designer Per Weiss selected the special cover above designed by Vladimir Vinogradov as the winner that will be part of the next One Room Living collection. The cover captures the spirit of the collection with a graphic, stylish design that at the same time carries references to a musical equalizer.

Mr. Sofa bed himself, Flemming Højfeldt, celebrated his 60th Birthday this month. Flemming founded Innovation back in 1971 and is still active in the company as the technical director working with product development and not least optimisation of the production facilities. Even though marketing and sales is increasingly important, Innovation has always been a company with strong skills within design and production. This gives us the ability to experiment and innovate and allows us to guarantee the right standard of working conditions and product quality, which can otherwise be difficult to overview in the global market place.

Innovation Cup 2010

Sunday 21 March the annual Innovation Cup took place in Nørrebro Hallen in Copenhagen. 12 teams and their cheerleaders battled for prizes, glory and not least attention. Those teams who couldn’t win with their football skills compensated with creative outfits, banners and even a megaphone. The challenging Innovation team seemed was very polite and let the guests win most of the matches and the tournament ended as follows:
